The tongue bow bar has a special, flattened shape of the bow. This provides the tongue with optimum space. Many horses react to this with improved suppleness and increased chewing activity. But the bit is also very suitable for so-called tongue players who try to stick their tongue over the bit, as the arch effectively prevents this. This mouthpiece is therefore ideal for horses that do not tolerate conventionally shaped bits due to the pressure on the tongue and react with head banging or similar. The Pelham - a classic with a more elegant design refined by us. When the reins are taken, the bit acts on the mouth, lower jaw and neck. Depending on the length of the levers (5 cm or 7.5 cm), the bit can be angled directly in the mouth to varying degrees. Possible use with horses that have difficulty going through the poll, with 'hot' horses or with horses that require a clear influence in critical situations (biting, etc.). The Pelham is supplied with a chin chain hook.
