The plastic used has been declared safe by the FDA (US Food and Drug Administration), which means that the material contains no plasticisers and is not harmful to humans or animals. The Inno Sense bits are particularly hard-wearing thanks to the use of a stainless steel core. When using an Inno Sense bit, there is a trusting, supple contact between the horse's mouth and the rider's hand.
The water snaffle is a standard side piece. This side piece has loose rings that allow the bit to move more freely in the mouth, which is why many horses accept this bit well. The loose rings allow the bit to be applied more indirectly. To prevent skin folds from getting between the moving rings, it is advisable to fit the bit with bit rings.
The Inno Sense Tongue Free Hard is made of synthetic material, which is slightly harder than the Tongue Free Medium. The Inno Sense Tongue Free Hard is hardly flexible. This mouthpiece has a tongue clearance that creates space for the tongue and reduces the pressure on the centre of the horse's tongue. The synthetic material used is FDA-approved, which means that the material is non-toxic and contains no plasticisers.
