The design of the mouthpiece with a forward-sloping tongue guard, whose soft transitions merge into bevelled, lateral bit sections, impresses with the finest pressure distribution on the tongue. The sense of touch is optimally utilised, enabling a particularly precise effect.
This curb bit is recommended for gently and safely familiarising a horse with the curb bit.
The bevelled mouthpiece promotes harmony between the rider's hand and the horse's mouth and ensures a relaxed approach to the curb bit.
The horse's mouth is narrower where the curb bit is buckled in, which is why the curb bit should generally be 1/2 to 1 cm smaller than the snaffle bit.
It is important that the sides of the curb bit are close to the corners of the mouth.
The curb chain should be buckled in such a way that the curb bit can be accepted up to an angle of approx. 45°.
