The Sweet Iron bits are made of iron and have a recognizable blue color. Sweet Iron develops surface rust through contact with (air) moisture that tastes sweet and naturally stimulates saliva production. The horse will foam more, which means that it will accept the bit better.

This side piece has a D shape. The D-rings ensure that the mouthpiece lies quietly and stably in the horse's mouth. The pressure of the side pieces against the cheek makes turning easier by automatically pushing the horse's head in the right direction a bit. This makes the bit also suitable for young horses. The shape of the cheekpiece makes it less easy to pull the bit through the mouth.

A single-broken bit has a hinge point, which means that there is less pressure on the tongue than a double-broken mouthpiece. A simply broken mouthpiece will primarily put pressure on the lobes and sides of the tongue, and it can affect the roof of the mouth as well. A mouthpiece that is simply broken is considered a standard mouthpiece.
