The Air Tech off-road gaiters are popular with professional riders because of their comprehensive qualities. They are robust and breathable at the same time. The internal EVA foam protects the horse's leg particularly well from impacts and at the same time makes the gaiter super light. A TPU hard shell is installed as further protection, which absorbs even the strongest impacts. The outer layer is a hard-wearing artificial leather, which is particularly easy to care for. The Kentucky terrain gaiters are perforated with ventilation holes, making them particularly breathable and preventing heat build-up. The material also does not absorb water, which is an excellent feature, especially off-road.
Hard-shell gaiters are part of the horse equipment. Kentucky offers two types of front leg boots: the Air Boots and the Elastic Boots. Both are available with and without artificial lambskin. In combination with the Protec Impact Gel, the robust outer shell of the Air Gaiters made of stable TPU protects the horse's leg particularly effectively against knocks and bumps. The high level of breathability is ensured by a high number of ventilation holes in the neoprene. In contrast to the Air gaiters, the elastic gaiters do not have a Velcro fastener, but have a new, double-elastic fastener with buttons. This makes putting on the gaiters even easier. These gaiters also have a higher cut, which allows total freedom of movement of the ankle joint.
Those who prefer a wrap-around gaiter, i.e. a classic work gaiter, will also find what they are looking for at Kentucky. The Turnout Boots are a cost-effective solution that offer excellent protection for horses' legs. The Kentucky Turnout Boots come in Air, 3D Spacer, Solimbra and Leather versions. All work gaiters are made of shock-absorbing EVA foam, are anatomically shaped, have strong Velcro fasteners and are partially equipped with artificial sheepskin. The Turnout Boots 3D Spacer are also extremely breathable, very shock-absorbing and light in weight. The Solimbra outer fabric is stable, durable and waterproof.
Matching fetlock boots and bell boots are of course also available. The fetlock boot Air is closed at the back and completely encloses the ankle joint. The elastic version is open on the outside and offers particularly good protection on the inside thanks to the Protec Impact Gel. Bell boots are available with Solimbra outer material as well as synthetic leather. Here, too, you have the choice of bell boots with or without artificial fur. Of course, like all other boots, the bell boots are machine washable.
