well made, sits well in the outer shell, hope it lasts well and for a long time with the small connecting nipples. Overall, it fits, 56 would certainly have also fit, but we have always had bad luck with pressure points during prolonged use with other helmets when we had bought too little, therefore now 57. If it widened, it would be stupid.
